MayDay 2011: Catch22 Profile of Kitchener-Waterloo

By admin

Here’s an example of how voting against a Conservative will help us all.

In the riding of Kitchener-Waterloo, Peter Braid (Conservative) won by just 17 votes.

The NDP candidate was a distant 3rd with just 14.7% of the vote and the Green candidate had 12% of the vote.

One can see how trends may point to the Greens of NDP gaining steam over the recent series of election, but come on:  17 votes!!

It’s not my right to ask someone in that riding to give up on their party (be it NDP or Green), but on MayDay, please vote Liberal.

(NOTE:  I was once a member of one of the parties that I’m asking people to vote against.  Also, I am no longer a member of that party or any other federal or provincial party.  I am making these pleas and reminding people of the opportunity to significantly reduce the Conservative Party in the House of Commons in the best interest of the future of this country).
