Romney’s Connection to a Bought Election

Posted on by 0 comment

If people believe that there’s a choice or a democracy in the US, think again.

Mitt Romney, through various holding companies, owns the voting machine company that will decide the fate of the election in the US in November.

Global Research has identified that:

through a closely held equity fund called Solamere, Mitt Romney and his wife, son and brother are major investors in an investment firm called H.I.G. Capital. H.I.G. in turn holds a majority share and three out of five board members in Hart Intercivic, a company that owns the notoriously faulty electronic voting machines that will count the ballots in swing state Ohio November 7.

This is a classic example of why voting requires more analog connections, more transparency and more scrutiny.

And less ownership.

The true crime of all of this:  in 2004, voting machines in Ohio handed the election to Bush Jr.  Was there a connection way back in 2004 that people didn’t investigate?

MayDay 2011: Robo-Calls and Fraud

Robo-calls – the incessant automated calls that you get during an election – are annoying.

They lack personality and warmth and just piss you off.  At least, that’s the response I have.

Everybody knows this.  Including the Liberals.

It’s because of this that there’s growing suspicion about who might be behind the robo-calls that are coming from somewhere in the United States pretending to be calls from Liberal candidates.

The CBC covered the story yesterday, and Canadians must realize that there’s more to this that must be investigated.  As one commentor noted on the CBC site, just call the FBI and have the numbers traced.

But is it that simple?

Will we ever know who’s really behind these calls?  Put your bets down.

Canadians probably won’t know who’s to blame, but whoever is behind this has committed an extremely serious breach of ethics and fraud with this election.  It’s proof once again that we’re all victims of a very different ball game.

I think you can guess who my money is on when it comes to who’s behind this.

A Chilling Reminder about Electronic Voting

We all had some pretty nasty fears heading into the election thinking things like:  "Would the GOP be stupid enough to rig it despite Obama’s massive lead?" or "would it just be the ‘swing states’ where problems would arise?"

Thankfully, none of that bullshit happened (again).  If it did, I’m sure the million or so in Chicago would have fanned out across the States and burned it down.  Well, maybe not, but there would have been hell to pay.

Anyways, I came across this video today and thought it was worth sharing, despite the fact that we’re ‘OK’.  With any luck, the world will turn its back on electronic voting and privatizing our one basic right that still seems to be respected in the US and Canada.  Kind of.

McCain Voting Machines

I thought this video was appropriate, given some of the frightening stories I’ve read about vote fraud and issues with electionic machines:

Of course, in Canada, we didn’t need corrupt machines.  We just needed a few extra parties to split the vote.

US Election: Fraud’s Ugly Head Materializing?

Posted on by 0 comment

Despite the massive leads reported in favour of Barack Obama, a lot of stories are popping up concerning election fraud, voting issues and problems with electronic voting machines.

This BBC story
is one of the earlier ones that I’ve seen, but a search on US election fraud (especially with What Really Happened ) will reveal that the problems are ubiquitous and should be something to be worried about.

Here’s another link. Are most of the reports are coming from outside the US? Stay tuned.

What will you do if the Cons steal another election?  If you’re an American, will you finally do something to show your disgust?
