War vs Us
Paraphrasing Jeff Tweedy from Wilco, I’d love to see a war on war.
Donald Trump has lead the world into a catastrophic situation in the Middle East and none of us seem capable of preventing further escalation.
It reminds me of this cartoon:

War is expensive and the more you spend on it, the less likely it is that you’ll ever be able to stop spending on it.
It’s the absolute worst kind of financial and industrial addiction I can think of when it comes to budgetary allocations.
The warriors party while hospitals and schools have to focus on returning their empty bottles and cans for fundraising.
Canada is following in the same footsteps as the rest of the global hawks, putting our day-to-day lives more at risk.
‘But we’re at risk if we don’t spend enough money.’
That’s bullshit and we all know it. I don’t drop bombs on my neighbour and we have systems in place to prevent leaders of countries from doing the same.
We need to use these institutions before we’re all done for.
This model is not sustainable.
