The longer we’re cut adrift, the sooner we learn to row.

Justin Trudeau is trying to ease us into a MUCH longer stay-at-home process than I think most people want to hear.

The CLAW – Costco, Loblaws, Amazon and Walmart – will continue to keep its grip on our society, but in time, many people will adjust to the new reality. Since the Westons and Pattisons and Sobeys of the world are absent landlords, we’ll move on without them.

The broader base of humanity will learn once again to take care of their own, they will entertain themselves and they will grow and preserve their own food.

It’s what humans do.

It keeps me optimistic despite the occasional negative turn that I take with this blog.

I have to keep telling myself that we will collectively emerge from this asking questions and demanding answers.

  • Why did globalization fail us so miserably? What can we can from better forms of globalization?
  • What are we doing BETTER to be more independent and yet still have full capability to lend others around the world a hand?
  • What are we doing to put an end to savage practices against other animals, some of which may be the root cause of Covid?
  • When will we make sincere efforts to put partisan politics behind us and move ahead in an honest way that makes sense for the entire planet?

It’s time to change. Do it now … or wait. But the longer this lasts, the more likely we’ll all have serious adjustments to make, so you may as well start now.
