Oh Liberals, Why Did You Do Something So Stupid?

By admin

I’m still a big believer in ousting Stephen Harper.  He has to go.

I’ve also begrudgingly accepted that I will vote strategically.  Our local candidate for the party I actually want to vote for is not a good candidate, so I’m not in a state of turmoil like some other Canadians may be.  I will vote Liberal because that local candidate has the greatest potential to defeat a Harper stooge, at least compared to any other candidates and current local polling.

So there, I’ve done my homework.  I beg you to as well.  I certainly hope that the leading candidate is a member of a party that you believe in, but if not, I still implore you to put your passion aside and think about the numbers and DEFEAT STEPHEN HARPER.

Sigh.  Which brings me to my current state of anxiety.  Why are the Liberals all of a sudden trying to be as stupid as possible just as they head for home base (in keeping with the Jays win last night)?

Sidling up with anyone at this stage of the game is an amateur mistake.

The basic premise (and warning) is that you don’t know who will rat you outNews of Dan Gagnier bringing ‘deals’ to Satan’s minions (or makers, depending on your point of view) is embarrassing, shameful and troublesome.

Why would you start making any deals with people who will turn you over to ‘the machine’, be it Stephen Harper, the media or any other opposition members?

Show some good common sense and strategy.

Don’t trust anyone until you’ve actually won the election.
