Why We Need To Eliminate Tax Privileges of Religious Organizations

By admin

For a very long time, religious institutions have thrived off public support in the form of tax-free status for property, incentives for food programs and deductions for donations made by taxpayers.

This needs to come to an end.

In the scheme of things, I don’t want to be confused as someone who ‘hates’ organized religion. I just think it’s time that the public purse gets completely and absolutely separated from their revenue and ‘business’.

If they want to continue as entities, they are certainly welcome to, but please, with their own money, thank you.

If you’re looking for a reason behind my logic?

Look no further than the US evangelist who is asking his followers to fund a $54 million (US) private jet.

Once again, a reminder that the road to (the mythological) hell is paved with tax-refundable donations.

Duplantis shows his followers a photo of him standing with his other three jets.
