What started as a simple vendetta against one of the world’s largest corporations had materialized into a great, vast disaster for Diana. She had no idea that people like Garamond were capable of this kind of hatred and viciousness, but the evidence was clearly and carefully laid out before her.

She spent most of her life trying to find weaknesses in the OMNINet and for once in her life, she felt like she had the upper hand.

Kite had done his job well.

He had helped her create a substantial amount of incriminating evidence against Griffith Garamond, Simon Hadlock and a host of other executives with the OMNINet and she was going to do her best to round them all up in a court of law. Every so often, she would have doubts about whether or not the collection of data would stand up to rigorous defense tactics, but she’d have to try.

The OMNINet, the Univists, Greyrock and even the Tri-X IPO would all come crashing down in a pile of dust and debris. She knew her actions would destroy the lives of thousands, but she felt that they were all willing accomplices, even by partial knowledge of what was going on within these organizations.

The thought that gave her the most joy was that the wave of trials might bring some scrutiny to the leaders of the Univist Church, exposing the vast cultish atmosphere and intentions to just use women as breeders of ‘God’s Army’, a notion to her that seemed preposterous at best. It seemed so ugly and raw that women could be manipulated like this and she reveled in the idea that they might see the light and step away from this misogynistic model of turning young sons and daughters into killing machines.

As she assembled her cash, most of which was financed by selling some shares of Tri-X stock, she thought about the next steps for Kite.

Her plan left no room for illegalities anymore. She had to keep him and his entourage away from the OMNINet for fear that they get discovered.
